Sun Conjunct Saturn (October 13, 2011)

The source of all that you can “Be” meets with what you have so far “Become”. The Sun has reached Saturn and your pure potential is getting a much needed “reality check”.

Just like in a New Moon, the coming together of two bodies in their conjunction represents a beginning; it is a release of new energy and meaning, an opportunity for a new relationship and what it means to you.

The Sun is your “Self”, it is your potential waiting to be released, formed and acknowledged. Saturn is what you have so far poured yourself into, it is your Reality. But the Spiritual paradox you face is that this very fulfillment of your Self, your self-realization, is also a very real limit upon your Self (over time). For you can only “Be” by being some “Thing”, which is by its very nature and being, being formed and manifested, Limited.

This is the dilemma of your journey, to be a spirit in the material world…

The opportunity you are given now is to begin again, to start a new year of releasing yourself into your forms of self-realization. Today you end a cycle of manifestation; today you begin a cycle of New Manifestation. Today you feel most poignantly that creative tension, the joy and pain, that comes out of all that “could or should be” being faced again with what you (and everyone else) has already made. Yes, there is much to be grateful for…but there is much to be done. Today you begin…

It has always been so.…this is your journey, to descend into matter so as to raise it up, into the light…and it takes time, a long, long time to get it right.

But today, today you can yet again make a new beginning.…to set yourself more firmly upon that path of promise…as you head back to the light.

Shine on!
