This is the “oth­er side” of
the New Moon Solar Eclipse of two weeks ago. The release/renewal of spiritual
influ­ences at each New Moon find their com­pli­ment and coun­ter­point at the
fol­low­ing Full Moon. One point, the New Moon, is the like a spir­i­tu­al “Seed­ing
of Mean­ing”, the fol­low­ing Full Moon is like a “Har­vest of
Under­stand­ing”, and through their con­stant inter­play the uni­verse provides
you with signs, sym­bols and wis­dom as you make your jour­ney through Space.

How­ev­er, when the New Moon and Full Moon
are eclipses, it becomes a lit­tle more pro­found and occult (hid­den), you have
to delve a lit­tle more deeply to under­stand what the Meaning/Understanding
might be. I wrote about this Full Moon Eclipse in my Overview for 2012. This is
what I wrote then:

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini
inter­rupts the rev­e­la­tion you were hop­ing for. You were seek­ing to bend and
stretch your intel­li­gence so as to hold two (or more) approach­es to the issue
you con­front. Again, it is your men­tal “blind spot”, your unquestioned
pat­terns and assump­tions that need to be seen as stand­ing in your way. Real
intel­li­gence is not exer­cised in hav­ing the “cor­rect” answer by
accept­ing the con­ven­tion­al par­a­digm; it is much more impor­tant to be able to
shift your assump­tions so that you can ques­tion the ques­tion itself!

In an ordi­nary Full Moon, Luna bright­ly reflects the Sun’s
illu­mi­na­tion for you…it clear­ly reveals the deep­er Mean­ing of the original
seed­ing (New Moon) through her coun­ter­point of Under­stand­ing. How­ev­er, with the
shad­ow of the Earth cross­ing over the Moon (as in this Eclipse), the mes­sage is
par­tial­ly obscured by the Veil of Assump­tions formed by prevailing
thought-forms, emo­tions and fears here on Earth…your own, more lim­it­ed point
of view on Earth is obscur­ing the message.

What do you do? When­ev­er you encounter a shad­ow, you need to reduce or
elim­i­nate it with oth­er sources or points of illumination…you need to enlarge
your point of view so that it is more intu­itive, inclu­sive and clear-see­ing. The
ordi­nary mes­sage of Gem­i­ni needs to be enhanced, you need to shift your awareness
and chal­lenge your assump­tions, pre­sump­tions and “truths”.

The usu­al mes­sage of the Full Moon in Gem­i­ni is always there to pro­vide a
nec­es­sary coun­ter­point and bal­ance to the pre­vail­ing theme of the Sun in
Sagit­tar­ius. Sagit­tar­ius rev­els in Deduc­tive Under­stand­ings, which is when you
posit grand the­o­ries or prin­ci­ples to explain your expe­ri­ence. How­ev­er, when
tak­en too far you can lose touch with that very real­i­ty itself, you become
enam­ored with your love­ly cas­tles of thought-forms that increas­ing­ly bear no
rela­tion­ship to the real world at all…You lose touch with the greater reality
around you. 

As you con­front the dis­con­nect between what you actu­al­ly experience
and your self-wrapped mod­el­ing of the world you will have two choic­es: 1) you
either refuse to deal with real­i­ty and remain in your increas­ing­ly less than
real­is­tic world mod­el, or 2) you aban­don your mod­el and begin to re-con­nect to
what is actu­al­ly hap­pen­ing in your world.

This is where Gem­i­ni comes in as the advo­cate of Induc­tive Reasoning,
of gath­er­ing, observ­ing and exam­in­ing a myr­i­ad of data points with as little
pre­sump­tion or fil­ter­ing as pos­si­ble. Even­tu­al­ly, you cre­ate a body of
knowl­edge about your world that is built up, lay­er by lay­er, from your real
expe­ri­ences. Nor­mal­ly at the Gem­i­ni Full Moon you would be able to engage your
adap­tive, inquis­i­tive and con­trar­i­an fac­ul­ties as a coun­ter­point and bal­ance to
the pre­vail­ing Sagit­tar­i­an deduc­tive rea­son­ing with its self-shadowing
assump­tions. You would be able to chal­lenge the par­a­digm by ques­tion­ing those
very assumptions…and rev­el in your mind’s abil­i­ty to think “out­side the
box”.

But here at the eclipse you must go further…it is not enough to
ques­tion the par­a­digm or world views as put forth by the cul­tur­al verities,
polit­i­cal alle­giances or reli­gious ortho­dox­ies that claim to explain
“life” as it is or ought to be. You need to free your per­cep­tions and
see through these prisms to an even more inclu­sive understanding. 

What might
that be, how can you do that? It would seem that either you work inductively,
from the small­er to greater, or deduc­tive­ly, from the greater to the
lesser…what else is there?

Actu­al­ly, you have your most dis­tin­guish­ing spir­i­tu­al gift, part of what
makes you “human” and it will pro­vide the answer here. It is part of
your ongo­ing, unfold­ing awak­en­ing where your mind or ordi­nary con­scious­ness is
lift­ed up by your high­er self…and it is known to you, oh yes it is…it is
your Imagination! 

Your Imag­i­na­tion is that most won­drous spir­i­tu­al fac­ul­ty that truly
inspires your growth of under­stand­ing, about your­self and your uni­verse, and
cre­ates the means by which you can accept what has been, under­stand what is really
before you now and dream, yes dream of your bet­ter tomorrows! 

This is one of your Gifts of the Spir­it and it has ever quick­ened your
devel­op­ment in the Human King­dom of Life. Your progress is not acci­den­tal or
incre­men­tal, and it has more often been accom­plished by and through these great
leaps of self-tran­scen­dence, for beat­en paths are for those who beaten…Instead you will Imagine,
you will Dream…and you will become a wonder! 

Here at the Eclipse you need to re-imag­ine both your Deduc­tions and
Induc­tions, you need to think way out­side the box…By using your Intuitional
Intel­li­gence you will open the door to anoth­er realm of Under­stand­ing, you will
approach that much near­er to the realm of Divine Thought. Your
Imagination/Intuition allows you to cross beyond your self-accept­ed, self-made
bound­aries of what is “Real” to your The­o­ries or Facts. It does this
by help­ing you to move beyond your Cul­tur­al prisms and Sci­en­tif­ic Dogmas. 

Just like any pre­vi­ous seek­er of greater under­stand­ing, who had to put
aside the known to dis­cov­er the greater in their time, you must be will­ing to
approach your world with more Open­ness and Wonder…with the eyes of a child… 

Per­haps, with enough
imag­i­na­tion, you can even dream of becom­ing anoth­er type of being altogether…Imagine
how this world would be per­ceived or under­stood if you were some form of bird
of the air, or if you swam as a fish in the seas…or maybe some­thing beyond
entirely…What would you know or see then? 

To Dream, to Imagine…that is how your Future is made…

For what is Now, was made long, long ago…and it is done.

What will your new day bring, who will greet the Sun?

Be the Dream­er, be the Imagineer…let Intu­ition be your guide.

Your love returns for her annu­al reality
check. And though it often­times hurts, (oh yes it does, for this can be a time
when love may seem want­i­ng), this too is part of your jour­ney as you ques­tion, re-discover,
re-affirm and learn to express your true bound­less, foun­tain-source of value,
that true and eter­nal source of love that is the bright burn­ing core of you.

Actu­al­ly, this real­i­ty check hap­pens four
times per year as Venus and Sat­urn line up in a “chal­leng­ing” aspect
to one another…but this align­ment is the most impor­tant of these four
turn­ings. Why? Because this is the begin­ning of the Venus-Sat­urn cycle, sort of
like a “New Moon” for your Love and Real­i­ty, (and though it is nice
to wish and dream and fan­ta­size about beau­ty and love in your world, when it
comes down to it, here on Earth that it is, you real­ly need it to be Real,
don’t you!).

Venus is the bear­er of the ener­gy that
links each and every part of your cre­ation with every oth­er part. She is the
veil behind which sings the Song of Cre­ation itself, a melody which rang out
from the moment of that first, won­drous breath at the Begin­ning of the One. That
was when this uni­verse went from non-being into this spi­ral jour­ney of Becom­ing and it
is Venus who embod­ies this force which holds togeth­er all the ones who come
from that One…and you know and feel this as Love. This is what lies at the
core of you, this spark of Divine essence, and it is that which keeps you and
con­nects you to all of Cre­ation through all the ages…

Sat­urn is the bear­er of forms, the
real­i­ties you and every­one else make for your self-real­iza­tion, and these are your
expe­ri­ences that you must work in and through to become any­thing on this
phys­i­cal plane of Earth. The most pre­cious part of this real­i­ty-mak­ing you form
for your­self is the vehi­cle or expe­ri­ence of rela­tion­ship with one another,
your shar­ing and car­ing for each other…by your Lov­ing one anoth­er. Saturn
demands that the Dream, the Idea, the Essence of Love become real and
sub­stan­tial as man­i­fest­ed forms of Love of and for one another. 

But, as ever with Sat­urn, the teacher
and tester, there will come the shad­ows too, because the forms you and the
oth­er made were imper­fect, because you are not yet what you will be. The fears
that fall upon you are from your past and your pri­or attempts of love cast a
bro­ken light upon your present dreams for a bet­ter love today. Your fears spill
for­ward into the present and the true, abid­ing and bound­less love you hold
with­in you is unable to escape those shadows…and the love you seek to express
is less than it was to be. 

Sat­urn forces you to re-exam­ine, to look
with­in your shad­owed past, to see what lessons you have learned and mastered,
to see how well you have come to know and love your­self. For it is only by
approach­ing more close­ly the truth that lies at the heart of you, only by
find­ing and feel­ing that source of uncon­di­tion­al love that resides with­in you,
it is only when you can hear that Song of Cre­ation with­in your own heart, only then will you come to find the love you seek “out there”. 

That is why Sat­urn brings this feeling
of loss or the lack of love, of a less­er love or being unloved. Not because it
is true (for you are loved for­ev­er and always), but in order for you to feel
that pain, to come to know that this can­not be true, that it is not
“real”. So you will seek even hard­er, you will go even deep­er to
secure the under­ly­ing, undy­ing real­i­ty of the love that is at the core of you.

Venus meets with Sat­urn tonight, Beauty
and the Beast begin a new jour­ney togeth­er, and it is all about your circuitous
jour­ney to the heart of you, to the source of Light and Love that is within
you, ever and always…The source of Love is with­in you, sur­rounds you and illu­mi­nates all of Cre­ation too!

Clos­er, you draw to that light within…

Those shadows…will fade, fade away.

A bet­ter world awaits your heart…the dawn­ing of brighter days.

As you draw nearer…to your love…

Mer­cury com­pletes his thrice-yearly,
three week long loop de loop of reflec­tions, intro­spec­tions and mental
self-cor­rec­tions (with the usu­al, those more than dis­tract­ing sideshows of contrarian
caus­es and effects)…You can breathe eas­i­er now as you begin to put into motion
those dis­cov­er­ies, adjust­ments and improve­ments you came up with dur­ing the
past three weeks…

What­ev­er was stuck, what­ev­er was delayed
or mis­placed, (or mis­un­der­stood by you and by oth­ers) will now come back into a
more felic­i­tous align­ment. You can pro­ceed with your usu­al expe­ri­ences of
obser­va­tion, analy­sis and expression…but hope­ful­ly you can take with you a
greater under­stand­ing of your con­stant need, day in and day out, to be more
self-aware, solic­i­tous and circumspect.

For that is what Mer­cury ret­ro­grade reminds
you, that you need to be more aware of your propen­si­ty to assume too much and
to ques­tion too lit­tle about your per­cep­tions and knowl­edge about your­self and
your world. It is far too easy to become com­pla­cent, to assume and seek self-val­i­da­tion and avoid con­trary indications…

You should take some time, per­haps sev­er­al times dur­ing each and
every day, (and not just dur­ing Mer­cury ret­ro­grade), you should take some time
to pause and re-con­sid­er your assump­tions and “facts”. You need to lis­ten more
intent­ly to one anoth­er’s points of view…and then, with that enhanced and
tem­pered aware­ness, plunge back into your spheres of action and activity
with more grace, poise and humil­i­ty. Now would not that be some­thing to see!

So yes, breathe eas­i­er this evening as
Mer­cury turns and your life can move for­ward again with few­er embarrassing
and annoy­ing stumbles…

But you should also take with you this
healthy reminder that you must always be vigilant…you need to main­tain your
self-aware­ness and reflec­tiv­i­ty at all times so as not to fall into error so
easily…

For you are what you thought, you will become
what you think…

Think about that!

You have tak­en the mea­sure of one
anoth­er, you have sought the bal­anced way, mea­sure for mea­sure, as you offered
and received, as you tried to walk the mid­dle path with one anoth­er, the path
of con­scious coun­ter­point­ing, the path of peace…and you did it with grace,
and beau­ty and love…

But the wheels of life are spinning
’round and Venus must take her plunge, she is here to take you deep­er, into the
waters, into the depths of your feel­ings for one anoth­er. There she will help
you to find the “weav­ing way”, of blend­ing and bend­ing, as she weaves
her mag­ic webs of love, bring­ing you much, much clos­er to one another. 

For the next three weeks, Venus will
take you into the mys­ter­ies of Love and Union. She will ask you to exam­ine your
val­ues so that you might under­stand which of them are more true of you, which are the ones what
are tru­ly non-nego­tiable and make you, You! For any­one who wish­es to be with
you, would nev­er ask you to give those up, for if you did, well, then they would not be
able to expe­ri­ence a rela­tion­ship with you…because you would no longer be
there!

And, she will equal­ly help to show you which
val­ues are more periph­er­al to the real you. Those val­ues are not essen­tial or
con­se­quen­tial, and can be sac­ri­ficed and sur­ren­dered to cre­ate or strengthen
your shared space of We with one anoth­er. For you must know, it is part of the
dance of life, you must be will­ing to sac­ri­fice to grow, you must be will­ing to
give if you are to receive the rewards of a greater life.

For that is the mys­tery and beau­ty of
True Union, that is the source of the growth you will expe­ri­ence through a True Rela­tion­ship. What is essen­tial, what it demands and offers, is that you make a deep­er com­mit­ment to what is true for you and you let go of what is not. You give up the less­er val­ues of your life as you
forge a deep­er tie with one another…and mag­i­cal­ly, won­drous­ly, you find that
in mov­ing clos­er to your beloved, in draw­ing close to one anoth­er, you have
actu­al­ly come that much clos­er to your own true self! For the only path you can follow…is Love.

Co-cre­at­ing, you are the sacred mak­ers of
Union.

You are back again, mov­ing into the
world of Ideals, reach­ing for your inspi­ra­tion in the realm of Fire…

After eight signs, hav­ing walked the
cir­cle of life for almost three sea­sons, the wheel of des­tiny comes to this
final turn­ing of the Astro­log­i­cal Year. You are ready for one more push,
through Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Now you begin the Final Four Signs, and as
before, you begin with Fire…Today you cross the thresh­old of Truth, you
release your­self into the world of Sagittarius.

You have emerged from the Waters of
Union, from those mys­ter­ies where­in two moved clos­er to becom­ing one, the
won­drous yet chal­leng­ing trans­for­ma­tions of Scor­pio. What is this urge that is
pulling you, draw­ing you upward and out­ward now? You need to know, you need to
understand…you seek the more inclu­sive per­spec­tive, you wish to gaze upon those
freer, wider vistas…you need to find it…the Greater Understanding. 

You must put these expe­ri­ences you have
Felt into some larg­er per­spec­tive, to see what explains your life now and where
you might be head­ing next…And, and you have dis­cov­ered more about this world
and your­self, you find that you have some­thing to offer now, some­thing to share
with the world as well…

So it is time to dip into the Well of
Wis­dom and explain your greater sto­ry to your­self. You need to step back and
see the big­ger pic­ture, to link your own expe­ri­ence into a larg­er frame­work of
mean­ing, to look again at what guides your steps, to exam­ine what you believe
to be true, whether that be in Philo­soph­i­cal or Reli­gious or Sci­en­tif­ic or even
Meta­phys­i­cal expla­na­tions. You need them more than ever now, because even more will
be asked of you…and you must pre­pare. You enter those hal­lowed halls of the
Greater Under­stand­ing and seek for your most elu­sive trea­sure, to be at Peace,
to have Peace of Mind…

But remem­ber, your own sto­ry, your
expe­ri­ences, are part of this his­to­ry too, and you need to add your understanding
to this greater Well of Wis­dom, for that is how it has always grown…and that
is how you can help one anoth­er now. Par­take of the Well, let it soothe your
soul, and add your full mea­sure too.

This is a time for sto­ry­telling and
sto­ry shar­ing, this is when you need to look back to the Ancient Ways and see
how they speak to your Heart and Soul and Spir­it. You need to come togeth­er and
share your under­stand­ing with one anoth­er, to join in cer­e­monies that re-affirm
the ancient truths, to look at oth­er times, to vis­it oth­er cul­tures to see how
it is so very dif­fer­ent and yet just the same, always the same…

You need to walk among the soar­ing Cathedrals
of for­est, to look upon those far hori­zons of mead­ow and field, for Nature’s
mys­ter­ies hold the key to your own. Then turn and bow your head as you behold
the mighty trea­sures found in ancient scrolls and tes­ti­monies of those who came
before…Yes, many have been this way before, for your past is present and you
will nev­er walk alone. You need tell your new sto­ries and re-tell the old ones
too as you con­nect them all with this great­est sto­ry ever told, this your journey
of Life-Consciousness-Spirit…

Then you will remem­ber, where it all
began…you lift up your head and look to the heav­ens all around, you turn and
look at your won­drous Star burn­ing bright­ly in this quick­en­ing Autum­nal Air. For
know this, though it can­not be seen nor pro­faned by any mor­tal eye, behind your
Lord beam­ing, beyond your Sun there is the great­est won­der for you now. 

Behind
and beyond your Star is the inner­most sanc­tum at this time of year, in clouds
of dark­ness and light, you are pee­ing into the heart, the cen­ter of your Galaxy,
into the mys­ter­ies of your begin­nings, and your des­tiny too. Your Alpha is
there, long, long ago…And your des­tiny, well that is your self-becom­ing wonder,
many lives and greater dis­tances, yes many more yet to be trav­elled, many long
ways to go before you can be behold what is to be…

For now, it is enough, to know that you
are reaching…

You are striv­ing, and search­ing and
seeking…

To Under­stand, to Accept, to
Prepare…for you must…

Move ever clos­er, clos­er to the crossing
point of the Light.

As you fol­low the Ancient Injunction,
always and forever…
