Sun Enters Pisces (February 18, 2022)

Pisces — Johfra Bosschart

The Circle of the Living Ones

What is the essential Truth that holds all the others as one? It is quite simple really, as are all sacred matters. The whole point of your journey through all these realms, worlds, bodies, and lives is to come to live your life as what you essentially are. And what is that?

You, and all that we know as Creation, are simply formed, guided, and made by Divine Unconditional Love. And that is why the most profound truth found at the heart of all teachings is this:

The love you receive will forever equal the love that you give.

Yes, if we could sum up all that a person did, or is, or will forever be, we could not find a better way to hold the truth of how to understand the meaning of life than to see it as this, that what is truly shining through and behind one and all is this beautiful experience we call love.

We have reached the last of the signs of the Zodiac, the sign of Pisces. And at this time of year, and somewhere in your own Astrological chart, you will find this to be the most precious gift of the Circle of the Living Ones. Pisces holds the treasures and fruits of this life, as well as the innumerable series of lives you have lived, as it is the vehicle, the Avatar of your fulfillment.

Pisces is the “end that is the beginning”, the vessel of all your harvests and fruits of your countless lives, forged by all the journeys you have made by these Twelve Signs. And in this encompassing Circle of Life that is the Zodiac, you are held with your loved ones, and with all creatures great and small, along with the Moon, the Sun, and the Stars, indeed with the entirety of Creation as what you were and will always be, one with the One.

It is from your precious harvests of meaningfulness, of your lessons learned by your mistakes corrected, your growth in wisdom matched by your humility that deepened, it is from this compound creation that you continually forge the seeds of your next beginning and all your future lives too. Yes, Pisces is the Omega which will become your Alpha of a new day, a new year, and a new life in Aries and beyond.

Here in Pisces, in this realm of compassion and love for all of life, as you stand upon the eternal shore of dreams and wonders, with visions fired by imagination, compassion and love, Pisces is the ever-renewing fountain-source of your faith and hope. Pisces holds the truth, that you are the maker of you, in that the dreams you dream, become the thoughts you think, which forge the actions you took and made the reality you now face.

By this self-understanding you see the true path of self-mastery, by your awakening you see the Ribbon of Light and Love that is the path of the creator in you when you hold to your faith with love and understanding.

But even so, here at the end you once again wonder and ponder, “what is this all about, why am I here and what questions should I ask at this last great portal of the Divine?”.

As it was at the beginning, it is also at this so-called ending too; we remain what we are, looking to understand who and what we are, and why we are, the ever elusive why. And so, from the Circle of the Living Ones, from the Heart of the Loving Ones, we hear the celestial notes of the Divine that have come down to us from the very first days of Creation answer:

What is the purpose of life?

The Ancient Teachings, The Wise Ones tell us, that we are part of great host of beings that began our journey in Space-Time long, long ago. We came as seeds from a previous cosmic cycle, and it was our turn in the never-ending, ever-ascending Hierarchy that form the Kingdoms of Spirit and of Life, it was our turn to enter this most special realm that we call “human”.

What is so special about this realm of being that we name human?

It is the divine gift of self-awareness, of your being able to experience self-consciousness. By this gift you are slowly but surely forming yourself into a being that is endowed with the potential to fulfill your luminous Inner Nature, which is for you to become an ever more conscious co-creator of Creation.

But if I already have the Divine within me, why must I struggle, why must I suffer?

Because you are on a path of becoming, and your Spark of the Divine, your monad, is just the highest part of all your hierarchy of energy-forms or bodies that partake in this journey with you. This Divine Light, this Love that is the Divine, shines in every particle and mote of Creation, but in you it has been formed into a vehicle with a mind and a heart, with an intelligence and love so that you can understand and care for one another and for this Creation too. But this Jewel of Light, your Causal Body, is only one of your many energy-forms or bodies that you are, as there are many planes and dimensions, each requiring a different form of being.

You exist in many bodies or dimensions (not one), which can be arranged from the densest to the more ethereal, your Physical Energy-Form, your Emotional Energy-Form, your Mental Energy-Form, and your Higher Monad or Spiritual Energy-Form. Every one of these “bodies” journeys with you; and you through them and they through you; and, it is by this dance of spirit that you help one another walk the luminous path of perfection, in this life and in life after life.

You are bound to one another by the Law of Karma, and each of you reaps what you sow. Though you might wish to avoid error and suffering, you now realize that it was by your error and correction that you forged the way to make the light that is Love. You can accept and smile and forgive yourself and one another, because you have done the one true work, that you had to learn to choose what is more loving, more caring, and more truthful. This is the way it is done, because by living by love you become self-masterful, and so ever more guided by wisdom, humility, and compassion.

The Law of Creation is perfect, and you are here to help one another. You by and with your bodies, through trial and error, lift yourself up into a more perfect form of human; and you with your fellow humans help one another to become more wise and loving too; and so that even more truly you come to understand that is you, with all the beings that form the hosts of Creation, that you are here quite wonderfully and simply to be the very Light of Creation that shines within each and every kingdom of life too.

This is the Promise and Gift of Pisces. That in the end we will come to know that each of us, and truly every single part of Creation, is quite profoundly yet truly the Life and Light and Love of the Divine.

Yes, you are one of the ones of the One.

You are a vessel filled with the Power of Faith, and that Faith is the Love of the One.

You are on the path, the only path,

You are here to shine as the Love Divine.

Just love one another, as you are,

Divine.

2022–1‑30 Radio Show Transcript — 2022 Forecast – Part 3, Uranus and Awakening

Transcript of Radio Show: 2022 — A look ahead, the 2022 Forecast – Part 3 — Uranus

(If you wish to listen to the show instead, here is the link on BlogTalk or Apple Podcasts)

Today we will complete our initial overview of 2022 by considering the third of the outer planets, Uranus. In truth, I find it quite impossible to understand any one of the three outer planets without at the very same time holding in my mind the other two. They are for me or form, as I have often mentioned, what I call the Triad of Spirit. Their individual meanings can only be truly understood when you also hold the other two as well, as they each contribute to one another, forming an integral whole that inspire and guide our spiritual awakening.

Symphony of the Planets
One example of their interdependency and interrelationship is simply to be found in their relative positions with one another. It is quite extraordinary how their orbital ratios form a perfect numerical progression or resonance pattern. This is so clear when we arrange them in their relative position from us, that is from Uranus to Neptune to Pluto. Uranus’ orbit is 84 years; Neptune’s orbit is roughly twice that at 164 years; and Pluto is three times Uranus or 248 years; so that means they form a progression in years of 1 to 2 to 3.

Since these planets are what we call the Sacred three beyond Saturn, I like to look at them as the Avatars of our spiritual journey, of becoming more than what have been made by our mere conditioning from our past successes and failures, which is held by Saturn. Saturn should be held in this context as the planet of Reality, of what we have made along with our self-limitations. Another Astrological name for Saturn is the “Ring Pass Not”, and this means that when we move beyond the rings of Saturn we move into a more sublime place, a realm beyond seemingly fixed and materialized worlds of the more inner planets.

The Three Outer Planets as a Process
So, one way to look at these outer three with regards to our Spiritual journey and Consciousness is that they operate simultaneously, but also step by step. From a fixed and formed state of belief and knowing, we find ourselves by the activation of Uranus to be shook or shocked from our more limited beliefs and thought forms. Uranus operates like an electrical discharge or lightning bolt, and we experience that “Ah-hah”, of suddenly seeing something beyond what we had heretofore imagined.

Then Neptune comes along, as the Universal Solvent, to dissolve the boundaries between one thing, idea or realm and another, and so it lifts us to see through to a more inclusive understanding (after we have passed through the necessary state or interregnum that we label confusion).

Finally, Pluto brings the principle of Alchemy, the magic of combination and recombination, of birth, death, and rebirth, leading to the formation and fusion of a new Understanding.

So, one could say that in many instances in our journey of spirit we are first shocked out of our certainties by Uranus, then we move through a state of wonder and confusion by Neptune, so that we might finally arrive in a rebirth of our consciousness and meaning at Pluto.

Today, for us, the question is what does Uranus’ orbital position contribute to our understanding that we have gathered in my two previous shows on Pluto and Neptune? Remember, in the last show I commented upon that consistent pattern of Pluto’s passage through Capricorn every 245 years being counterpointed by Neptune’s passage through Pisces (as now), or in Virgo.

Uranus in Aries and Taurus
What is equally fascinating for us currently is this fact. That just as it was in the 1500’s and in the 1700’s, we also have the planet Uranus moving through the signs of Aries and Taurus in our period too. But here we have something quite extraordinary. The resonance pattern of Pluto in Capricorn corresponding with Neptune in either Pisces or Virgo has held for literally thousands of years, but the orbit of Uranus has formed a pattern of Uranus slowly moving backwards through the signs for each passage of Pluto in Capricorn.

So, maybe this difference may contribute to our understanding of what we have experienced in our spiritual journey for the past 500 years, which is the fact that Uranus has held steady for the last three passages of Pluto in Capricorn, because Uranus has been in Aries/Taurus for the 1500’s, 1700’s and for our period in the 2000’s. But if we look to the 1200’s it was in Taurus/Gemini, then in the prior period of the 1000’s it was in Gemini/Cancer, and in the 700’s it was in Cancer/Leo, and so on.

For whatever reason, and perhaps this may be play in role in how different and distinct our spiritual journey in awakening has been since the 1500’s, we have experienced a consistent or insistent messaging with regards to Uranus being in Aries and Taurus. What might this mean?

Though many other historical approaches and analyses will try to explain why we have had a rather distinctive or unique historical period since the 1500’s, when we consider our history through the lens of an Astrological and/or Spiritual perspective, I firmly believe that this pattern of Pluto in Capricorn, with Neptune in Pisces or Virgo, combined with Uranus in Aries and Taurus, can be very instructive and illuminating for us.

What I would argue is with regards to the spiritual journey of humanity, and the very real changes we have seen in human self-understanding, the shift in human consciousness, and the concomitant evolution our communities and cultures, we have most certainly witnessed the emergence of a very different kind of human over the past 500 years. The question is why?

We have already discussed somewhat the nature of the shift from the 1500’s to the 1700’s and then to our present day when we considered the integral influences of Pluto in Capricorn combined with that of Neptune in either Virgo or Pisces. Now with the addition of Uranus we can perhaps see why these past 500 years have been so very different from those before.

Whereas Neptune will complete one and one-half an orbit each time Pluto goes through Capricorn, Uranus will have gone around three times. But as I noted, it will slowly move backwards through the sign it is in when Pluto returns to Capricorn. What might be so very special about it remaining or holding for these past 500 years in the first two signs of the Zodiac while Pluto is in Capricorn?

I would argue that we can understand this significance by examining the message of Uranus when it is moving through Aries as focusing its influence upon the very nature of the “I”, as Aries rules the experience of “Who am I”; and that equally, we can see that while Uranus is in Taurus it shakes up the very notion of the second question of life, “What am I”?

Uranus’ Role combined with Neptune and Pluto
While it is true that no matter what sign Uranus is moving through, (and it is in each sign for about 7 years), its purpose or role is to individualize, individuate and free that part of our being or nature so that we may continue our spiritual journey of becoming a quintessential being, because our true nature is to become our very own unique spark of the Divine. So, with this understanding, we could see that Uranus in Aries during each breakdown of a previous order in structure and meaning (that is by Pluto in Capricorn, and Neptune in Virgo or Pisces), would significantly elicit a disturbance and questioning of the very notion of “what is this thing” that we experience as the “I”. Many observers have noted that our very notion of subject and object, our manner or attitude by which we think, speak and write has changed dramatically as we moved through the 1500’s and beyond. In fact, many historians posit that modernity itself, and the modern sense of “the self” emerged during that Pluto-Neptune-Uranus cycle in the 1500s.

Likewise, Uranus in Taurus elicits or brings shocks to our second most important sense of ourselves and our world; that is what is value, what is our value and what is of value for us? We can certainly see that by examining the conception of and the hierarchy of values that existed prior to the 1500s and then compare that to where we find ourselves today, our experience of value and own knowledge of the material worlds (and those beyond the material) has been totally transformed.

Indeed, that very essential construct of “the Subject” versus whatever is “the Object”, the I and the not‑I, has been transformed from the 1500s down to this very day.

For our purposes, in examining the spiritual journey of humanity from the 1500s onwards, the main consideration or shift would be experienced in this evolution (or revolution) in our perspective, our way of seeing ourselves and our understanding of the world around us; what has quite fundamentally driven our history for the past 500 years is the revolution in our consciousness, (which is by no means done of course).

As I mentioned in Parts 1 and 2 of our 2022 overview, the signature shift that has taken place in the last 500 years is in how we think, how we know or think we know, and how that has shaped what dreams we dream, and from this what we think of ourselves and how we live our lives.

The Ways of Knowing
Before the shocks that began in the 1500s by Uranus, and the dissolving’s by Neptune, and in the renewals of Pluto, we could understand the “way of knowing” by humans as being derived from one of three approaches or methods:

  • For much of human history, and for the greatest number of people, there is the understanding established and enforced by Authority, wherein the answers to life are determined by those who hold position and wield power over the many, whether they be from realms secular or sectarian. And this way of knowing by force is still quite prevalent of course for far too many souls.
  • Then for some, there is the fixing of the answers to life by what one wishes to believe to be true, a holding of or to a point of view, and to a reality, by sheer determination and often through deliberate or willful ignorance. In effect, one is an authority to oneself, but with no critical or reflective correction possible or sought for.
  • And then there is the approach for some, and which seems somewhat more reasonable, and it is known as “a priori” reasoning. It is an approach which is formed by assuming that one is being reasonable, or that we are being reasonable, and that by using our individual reason we can form certain assumptions and approaches to what we know, and it seems to work for us. But there is no method or practice within this approach that provides for testing or corrections or validation. So, by each of us assuming that we are right, and then by our confirmation biases in which we keep the data or experience that confirms what we assumed and ignore the rest, we end up creating a thought-reality structure that makes sense to us, but it can be truly nonsensical and even dangerous to ourselves or others.

Revolution in Consciousness
Finally, what emerged in the 1500s was quite extraordinary and exceptional, and this is what I would call a key part of the Spiritual Transformation brought about via the agency of Pluto/Neptune/Uranus. A significant element of this awakening forged what we have come to know as a means or process of understanding ourselves and our world called “the Scientific Method”.

The Scientific Method is the critical reasoning process whereby we can determine and separate fact from fiction. And it rests upon this most essential quality, that our transformational self-awareness created the capacity for us to be “self-critical”. That gift of self-criticalness is bestowed by our development of having some greater or lesser degree of objectivity, of our being able to observe not just what we may be trying to understand, but to hold ourselves as equally objective about our own perceptions and reasonings too.

By this leap in self-awareness, Knowledge and Truth became something forged and created by our Living Spirit. That what we know and believe would not be derived by fiat through some Authority, nor by ignorant and willful determination, nor by reasoning without critical reflection (the three previously mentioned ways). Now it became possible for knowledge and truth to be determined by a process of greater self-understanding and openness to the wonder of the world around us.

The Scientific Method
We would start, as one must if one seeks to truly know, with the knowledge that we do not know but we seek to understand. And so, we would propose something, a postulate or hypothesis about something, and then by observation, and testing, and re-hypothesizing, and more testing, and then the refining of our findings we could arrive at a conclusion with a reasonable certainty about something.

To be able to adopt this method of knowing, we must start from the first and truest position of spirit, that is just like in the mind of a child, we begin with an open mind, a mind unfilled with assumptions or ideas as such, but rather filled by a curious, inquisitive spirit that seeks to know more about the world and of ourselves.

The result over the past 500 years has been an ever increasing and exponential growth in our knowledge of the world. We unlocked the secrets of physics, chemistry, and biology and so we became like the gods, with the protean ability to radically alter our world and ourselves too. The world that was in the 1500s looks nothing like the world we have now. And we are certainly a very different type of human than our ancestors.

Yes, it is by this Spiritual leap in Consciousness, we found some of the keys to the Universe; we have magnified our powers and extended our range of influence over ourselves and all other life-forms on this planet. And herein we made and met our fate, we discovered a “ring” of great power, but we did not understand how we should use it or what we would create.

This is because, unfortunately, our leap in power was not matched by an equally greater wisdom or a deeper humility. It seems we have become the instruments of our own undoing by harnessing the secrets of the universe. Yes, we face the greatest of perils we have ever faced by our own making, because our knowledge was incomplete, and the consequences of our actions not fully understood.

Limited Consciousness
Moreover, for many, many souls, and truly for most of us to some greater or lesser degree, the other methods of determination of fact and truth or belief still hold sway, either partially or wholly, in our understanding of ourselves and our world. Rather than be filled with curiosity, wonder and humility, too often many choose to live in certainties founded in and circumscribed by fear.

Yes, far, far too many humans place their faith (or really their fear) into some one individual or group of “Authorities” who hold neither Truth nor Wisdom but merely their Power as the source of meaning. And far too many of us think that we are “reasonable”, and that we can use our reason and our modern indexes of information to sort fact from fantasy, and be an island of self-formed knowledge, our very own arbiters of truth and reason. And so, our fealty to authorities, or our egotistical self-assurances blinds us to the Living Truth that is Spirit.

We Need One Another to Know Truth
Because our foundation of understanding, from the very beginning of our awakening, has been anchored in this fundamental principle of our human knowing, which is that we are social beings, and we need one another to find our way to what is reasonable, to what may it factual and perhaps even True. Our very word for this, “Consciousness”, means “Together Knowing”.  Which quite simply means that if we do not share with one another, and tell our stories, and listen to one another, we will be lost upon the raging seas of misunderstandings.

That is why we need to help one another to find our way out of our confusion and fear by simply being there for one another; we must listen, we need to offer support and comfort, to provide insight and criticism, and we must equally be eager to receive it too. We are one another’s means to the truth, whose fundamental source is to be found in the One or Unconditional Love.

More than many may know or understand, we make what we are and what we will be by how we think, by what we think and what we share with one another. To that end I will leave you with some words from a very wise one, Manly Palmer Hall, who wrote in his book “Self-Unfoldment by Disciplines of Realization”:

Let your realization through all this time be that simply, naturally, gently, normally and happily, you are growing up through the many to the One, and that you are accomplishing this through the gradual processes of discovering as a series of joyous experiences the One in each of the many. Realization is the conscious understanding of the unity of life, and of the unity of the living Self with the deathless Cause which abides in the innermost parts of the world.

Be patient, and in all things be kind – and time and eternity will be patient and kind through you.”

Astrological Musings – A look ahead, the 2022 Forecast – Part 3, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto (January 30, 2022)

Evolution of Consciousness
In my second show of 2022, we will complete the first steps in the examination of the Astrological trends for 2022 by discussing Uranus and its integral relationship with Neptune and Pluto. I find it is impossible to really understand the meaning and influence of the Outer Planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, without considering them as operating as what I call a “Triad of Spirit”. I would also argue that this approach is true for all the planetary bodies, as each contributes to all the others, and by this inclusive approach we can obtain a more holistic understanding for the influences and meanings of the planetary patterns that shape our experience. We have come through a 500 year journey of awakening, and we need to understand the challenge we face today.

Sun Enters Aquarius (January 19, 2022)

Aquarius — Johfra-Bosschart

One for all, all for One

What is our purpose; why are we here; and where are we going?

According to the Ancient Wisdom, which is found at the root and core of all the great religions and metaphysical systems, the Ancient Teachings tell us that we are here simply for one purpose; we are here to strive and grow through trial and error, to learn from our mistakes and by our successes too, and over the span of many years, and through many, many lives, we will become a better, fuller human being, a being full of Light and Love.

The stories or meanings that are held in the twelve signs of the Zodiac, what I like to call “the Circle of the Living Ones”, help us to find our way in this journey. They inform and help us to understand that we are shaped and guided by these holders of the Archetypes, as they form the Greater Story of Life for every human, in each life, and in every life after life, until there comes that day when we will have mastered them all. Each life, each story, and each sign, leads to the next, as we work to form that more perfect story of our true self, which is to be “one of the ones of the One”.

Today we leave the sign of Capricorn and enter the penultimate sign of the Zodiac; today we begin our sojourn in the realm of Aquarius. During this time each year, and somewhere in your chart throughout your life, you need to understand this story of Spirit, this holder of the dream of humanity and your future.

In Capricorn, you write your story of responsibility; you find fulfillment in your achievements, as you shoulder the burden of your duties and obligations and take your rightful place as an integral builder of the Hierarchy of Life that supports and upholds one with each other, and indeed with all the Kingdoms of Life that form the One. In Capricorn, we bring and form our reality into what is the very best of us so that we may preserve, protect, and pass down the great treasures of our civilizations and cultures.

But now you must turn again and fix your sights upon the far horizon; now you must consider the dreams of what might yet be. For as much as it was not enough to know and tell the Truth in Sagittarius, you had to be and live by that Truth in Capricorn; it is not enough to stand for what is right and preserve the ways of our Ancestors in Capricorn, you must also make a better world for you and your children, and all those who will come after you too.

As much as Capricorn is that part of you that honors what was and preserves what you must, Aquarius reminds you that this is not enough, that you are not done, and a better world is the dream that is shared by one and by all. Whereas some might say that what we have is good or is good enough, the voice of Aquarius in you says, “but can we not do better, can we not be better”? Well, of course we can, and we will if we stay true to our dream of the good, of the life we can create that is filled with true happiness.

For that is what you want for yourself, and it is what you want for those you love, and really for everyone, to experience the joy of happiness. But what is “Happiness”?

I believe that the shining truth of the human spirit is that your Happiness is quite simply the experience of self-fulfillment; it is the capacity and ability to dream and to strive, so that you might be and become what you were meant to be. And because this is so, because your heart fills with joy when you sing your own special song in the “Symphony of Spirit”, you must also know that it is equally true that you can only be truly happy when those you love and care for are happy too.

Your happiness comes from your own self-fulfillment, that is true. But you cannot experience this for yourself alone, for you are not you without so many others. You have been formed, shaped, and guided by one another since the beginning of time, and just as your nature and character is made with one another, your happiness is also part of one another too.

True Happiness is a social experience, for when you see your comrade, friend, or lover’s joy in their self-fulfillment, does it not bring that most special smile to your heart too? How could you possibly be fulfilled if others are not; how could you be truly happy, if you do not care for one another? You feel your own happiness in the smiles and laughter of your fellow companions; yes, it is their happiness that is yours, and your happiness is theirs.

This is the light of Aquarius; that we are part of a sacred fellowship, a band of brothers and sisters who seek to create the very best world for ourselves, for our children and all those who may follow us. We are dreamers, who made one another and this world.

We are here to become better humans, and we do this when we make it possible for each and every human to fulfill their potential, to realize their dreams and make a better world for one and for all.

Yes, Aquarius is the story of Humanity. We are the one and the many, we are the same and yet individuals too, with beauty in the truth of our diversity and differences. We are here to love one another as we love ourselves, with conviction and compassion, with passion and acceptance.

We are the means to one another’s becoming what we could not have imagined by ourselves.

We will be what we dream, and we will become what we were destined to be.

Because we are “One for all, all for One”.

2022–1‑9 Radio Show Transcript — 2022 Forecast – Part 2, Neptune, Our Spiritual Crisis

Alchemical Tree of Life

Transcript of Radio Show: 2022 Forecast – Part 2 — Neptune, Our Spiritual Crisis

(If you wish to listen to the show instead, here is the link on BlogTalk or Apple Podcasts)

Today we will continue our look at 2022 with a special emphasis on the influence of Neptune in the coming year, both generally and with special attention to its message for the USA. Neptune has been moving through Pisces since 2011 and will not move into the first sign of Aries until 2026.

But before we look at Neptune on its own, I want to point out an interesting correspondence between Pluto’s transit through Capricorn and the transit of Neptune through Pisces. What we will find is that in every other passage of Pluto through Capricorn, Neptune will be passing through either Virgo or the opposite sign of Pisces for much of that period. And this correlation has been true for literally thousands of years.

Pluto/Neptune Cycles
Astronomically, this is due to the ratio of their respective orbital durations. The relationship cycle of these two planets, from Conjunction to Conjunction is about 491 years, and it is one of the “Master Cycle” indicators for Mundane Astrology. Interestingly, Pluto completes a circuit in roughly 245 years, while Neptune’s orbit is roughly 164 years. This means that 3 revolutions of Neptune around the Sun equals about 491 years, and 2 revolutions of Pluto equals about 491 years.

For our purposes, what this ratio of their relationship or of their harmonic resonance means is that when Neptune goes one and one-half times around the Sun it will equal just one orbital revolution for Pluto. And that is why each time Pluto is going through Capricorn, Neptune spends part of that time either moving through Virgo or through Pisces. I find this correspondence in their relationship very interesting and informative.

Pluto in Capricorn – Neptune in Virgo or Pisces
As I have noted many times, the passage of Pluto in Capricorn heralds the end of an institutional order and the birth of a new one. But given its relationship with Neptune, which is that Neptune is passing through Virgo or Pisces while Pluto is in Capricorn, we should expect that the nature of each Pluto shift or transition would be different or alternate in some meaningful way each time. If we look at this influence of Neptune blended with Pluto, it can help us to better understand what is similar yet different about our time in the 2000’s to the formative one for the USA in the 1770’s.

Given that the present-day passage of Pluto in Capricorn has Neptune in Pisces, our current period of institutional breakdown and re-ordering corresponds with that of the 1500’s more than the Capricorn/Virgo pattern at the founding of the USA. The question for us is how we might understand and so distinguish and define these differences?

With Pluto as the Avatar of the Power of Alchemy or the shaper of Spirit-Matter, and the wielder of the Will, and Neptune as the Avatar of our Fields of Dream and Imagination or the vessel of our Hopes or Fears, the type or kind of re-shaping and re-forming in these two different passages of Pluto in Capricorn can be discerned by the very different influences emanating through Neptune in Virgo versus Pisces.

Neptune in Virgo or Pisces
What I believe we can see is that the protean transformations of the Neptune in Pisces period, gives birth to a re-dreaming of the dream; and this in a fashion sets up or leads to the next Pluto in Capricorn with Neptune in Virgo, where that period brings this dream into the reshaping and reordering of life for that period. So, we would see that the 1500’s “re-dreaming of dreams” created the conditions for the 1700’s, and the USA being a “New Order for the Centuries”.

I find it is critically and interesting to note, that at the mid-point in Neptune’s cycle from that alignment, we see that 1770’s dream and reality-making facing its greatest test when Neptune went through Pisces in the 1850’s and 1860’s during the USA Civil War.

What this means to me is that with Neptune’s return to Pisces while Pluto is in Capricorn now, we are being challenged to reform or fashion anew the reality-form we made in the 1770’s, and we will do this by being inspired, as were those dreamers of the 1500’s, by a new vision of who or what we can be.

Pluto/Neptune in the 1500’s
In the period of the 1500’s, with Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces, the entire European ordering of life was turned upside down. From the Divine Right of Kings and the Ordering of Faith hierarchically arranged from Pope to Priest to the people, in what became known as the Reformation, turned that social order and way of meaning completely around. Faith became personal, it emanated from the personal experience of the “Word of God”, as the bible was now available in the common tongue. Faith became Individual, and no longer mediated by the priesthood and Pope. And over time the growing sense emerged that humans should order their lives around the sanctity of the individual conscience, and this informed and shaped the need to organize our institutions towards self-rule and democracy.

Pluto/Neptune in the 1770’s
When Neptune was in Virgo in the 1770’s, the dreams of that Plutonian ending of an age and reordering were focused through the critiquing, defining, and refining lens of Virgo. That is because when Neptune is in Virgo, we are asked to reimagine how we order our world, how we find our order of life within ourselves, in how we manage our lives, and how we form our institutions to meet our needs. And I would argue that with Neptune in Pisces, like in the 1500’s, and as it is now for us today, we experience the wonder and confusion of redreaming our very dreams, we are forced to go beyond our old paradigms of faith and fear so that we can find a new faith to guide our lives and refashion our institutions.

Where are we today?
Where we find ourselves today is in another shift in what I call our “Bubbles of Belief”, and we have come to a time when the very notion of what is true, or a fact is not so very clear. Rather than the mediation of Truth and Fact being determined and filtered by hierarchies of authority in the various realms of Science, Economics, Culture or Politics, we find that our shaping by the individualistic paradigm that was founded in the 1500’s has led to our moment where by the magic of interconnectivity to immense databases of information, each person can fashion and formulate their own version of reality from a veritable cornucopia of data that they have gathered from innumerable sources, but which, of course, vary greatly in their reliability. Without some means to sort fact from fiction, or truth from lies, we are at the mercy of the storms whipped up by those who profit from outrage and fear. Unfortunately, what we have created is a veritable chaotic cacophony of truths and half-truths, revelations and falsehoods, wisdom, and nonsense. How did this happen, and what does it mean for our future?

Bubble of Belief, Circles of Reality
As I have previously noted, we humans exist in what we have fashioned for ourselves, what I call our “Bubbles of Belief” which form our “Circles of Reality”. The role of Neptune is central to this experience because it holds the forms of reality, because it frames the lenses that we see as our reality. The Greater Reality behind it all, which will be known as and will be someday understood and experienced to be, is simply and profoundly called “the One”.

Why? Because the Foundation Source of Spiritual Truth is this: All of Creation is the Body, Heart, Mind and Spirit of the One. But to experience the One, for even a brief instant, would produce for most ordinary persons a shock that would shatter their being; it would quite simply be an encounter with what would appear to be pure Chaos! The One is beyond our comprehension, beyond our limited frameworks of principles, ideas, laws, or concepts. But this One is the Ultimate Reality. To us, as we look out into immensity of all of Creation it is truly chaotic; for those who have reached a higher consciousness it is truly sublime.

Neptune — Avatar of Meaning and Dreaming
Neptune forms our patterns of Consciousness and our means of Perception. It is the Avatar that will lead to our greater understanding. It is our Spiritual Source for Imagination, and the power of our Dreaming into Reality of whatever we imagine will become. Yet, here lies the great danger too, because by Neptune we can experience the exhilaration, the intoxication, of being “touched by the Gods”, so that we can imagine and dream the most wonderful forms of being, but we may equally stumble into illusions and nightmares too.

So, this would seem rather paradoxical; how could it be that the very instrument responsible for our journey in awakening, this Divine gift of our power of Imagination and Dreaming, how can this also be the same instrument or source of our delusions and confusion too?

Neptune holds the gift of Clairvoyance or Clear-Seeing, and Astrologers will often call the way of Neptune is that it operates as a “Universal Solvent”. It dissolves the boundaries and borders between thoughts and things, between dimensions and realms, and so enables us to see truth of the ultimate connection of everything and everyone, which is why it is also called the Avatar of Compassion and Unconditional Love.

The Challenge of Awakening
But here we face the challenge of journey in awakening, the opportunity and danger we face in moving from one Circle of Belief and into another. When we are undergoing any opportunity to let go of our former assumptions and limited perceptions with the assistance of Neptune, we may encounter the risk that we will become too untethered from a reasonable reality, by a Circle of Belief that served to keep us centered upon some essential truths within ourselves, and that equally formed our common understandings between one another.

Here we encounter the “razor’s edge” on our journey of awakening, the bright shining line between love and fear, between Illumination and Madness. When letting go of former certainties, and becoming untethered from an old Bubble of Belief, one may lose the common understanding shared with others as to the nature of reality. By this an individual or group or even an entire people or nation, may become enamored and entranced by energy-forms that are unfamiliar, yet seemingly offer the promise of a greater truth, of a special knowing.

Illumination or Intoxication
This experience of a special vision can be quite wonderful, and perhaps it is does hold a greater measure of the light of truth and even of wisdom, and so it might be that a lesser or greater awakening is at hand. But it is equally possible, and this is sadly found in far too many periods in human history, that those certainties of a greater truth imparted by those captivating visions, are really refractions and shadows formed by unhealthy desires and self-formed fears, forged in hearts that have turned from the light of love, creating illusionary notions of what is good and true. This peril of delusion and separation is most especially true when the siren song of Neptune’s revelation is not anchored in one’s heart by love, and so it may instead become shaped and twisted by fear. As always, the fault lies not in the stars, or in Neptune, but in our spiritual development as to our fortunes and fate.

Throughout many periods in human history, panics and manias, conspiracies and divisions have erupted. But the periods when Neptune is moving through Pisces, as it is now from 2011 to 2026 or like in 1848 to 1862, are particularly strong in this protean capacity to dissolve the boundaries between reality and illusion.

We have moved from a world in the 1500’s where the ordering of Truth versus Fiction was determined by and mediated through a descending hierarchy of authority, from Pope to King to Commoner, and instead we have created a world where every person is a pope or king, their own maker of fact, reason, and truth.

Unfortunately, the necessary level of spiritual development that is required to wield such godlike powers, where one would see a people or humanity guided by Wisdom and acting with Humility, well that is surely lacking in most if not all the various sectors and realms of our society now, from the uppermost and powerful down to the powerless.

Spiritual Crisis of Today – Chaos of all Realities
We live in disconnected Bubbles of Belief; we do not share the same assumptions about our world, about how we can discern what is right and what is wrong, or how we are to understand and treat one another. We are lost in the Ocean of Neptune, in the Chaos of all realities, and so for many souls there is no reality whatsoever, there is only confusion and despair. We are having what is known as an Epistemological Crisis, a crisis of how we know what we know, of how we can determine fact from fiction, or the truth from all the half-truths and lies; we find ourselves in a great Spiritual Crisis.

What can you do?
What can we do; what can you do? As always (and forever), I will gently advise one and all that the Truth has been known from the beginning of our journey in awakening, because it forms the very fabric of the Universe, as it is equally the very spiritual substance of you and me too, of course.

What we need to do individually, and then when we gather as friends, neighbors, colleagues and loved ones, is to return to the sources of truth found in all the great teachings, because we need to be guided by the Wisdom of the Wise Ones, our elder brothers and sisters, whose shining examples of Love and Compassion has shown us “the way” throughout the ages.

You cannot find your way by yourself, and so you must on the one hand look to the examples of those who left these treasures of truth for you, both in how to know the truth as well as the Truths themselves. And you most certainly cannot create your own understanding of your world because you are shaped and formed by all with who you have direct and indirect contact. You must choose wisely where you look for answers and avoid those individuals and groups whose certainties have created the very extremes between the dark and the light that make for our peril now.

As I said many times, and most recently in June of 2021:

The way of Truth has always been the Path of Love. For all those who follow the path of the Ancient Wisdom, and equally the many who understand and follow the great teachers whose messages are the “Heart Doctrine” of all religious traditions, we must begin and remain upon the Shining Path of Unconditional Love.

This will often be exceedingly difficult, seemingly impossible, when we encounter the cold meanness, and the dark hatred that seems to splash across our computer screens or onto our streets every day. But we must remain centered and true to the one path of the Masters. No matter who is before you, no matter how much what they do or say is disturbing or even repugnant to you, you must remember this and hold yourself to the path of Spirit and the clear Light of Truth. Whatever you do, and whomever you encounter, you must follow your Higher Self and:

Love One Another”

Love is the way; it is the only way. It is the Way of Peace and Understanding. This is the Truth of Neptune, for Neptune is the Way of Unconditional Love. It is the Light at the Core of you and of all Creation.

So, what I would advise each and every one of us today is this, to remember this:

The Light of Truth is within you, and you can obtain and secure it by an Open and Questioning Mind, that is held from excesses by Unconditional Love, and together with your Reason and Compassion, you remain centered in your higher spiritual nature by your Centered Will.

Democracy
Self-government, what we call Democracy, requires that each member of that society to be guided with reason, held by love, and unbent by the passions and fears of those whose reason and love has been broken or forsaken. Whenever you encounter those who are narrow of mind and heart, you must understand that they are acting from a space of fear, and the only way to reach them is by your Reason, Love and Will.

Remember the teachings, and follow the Masters, so that you remain on the path where you are Wise and Gentle and Steadfast. Remember the oath you took long ago and stay true to your Destiny. Remember the Great Invocation and say:

From the point of light within the Mind of God

Let Light stream forth into our minds

Let LIGHT descend on Earth.

From the point of love within the Heart of God

Let Love stream forth into our hearts

May LOVE increase on Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide our wills

The PURPOSE which the masters know and serve.

From the center which we call Humanity

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door

where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
