Tran­script of Radio Show: Can­cer Sol­stice, The Zodi­ac Explained, Mid-Year Review

The Sol­stice
On Sun­day June 20th, we reach one of the “Four Turn­ings” of the Astro­log­i­cal Year, the Sol­stice mark­ing the entrance of the Sun into the sign of Can­cer. In the Astro­log­i­cal cal­en­dar year, we have come through the first set of the three Modal­i­ties of Spir­it Forms which are held by the Car­di­nal, Fixed and Muta­ble Signs of Aries, Tau­rus, and Gem­i­ni; and we have also expe­ri­enced three of the four Ele­ments of the Zodi­ac, which are Fire, Earth, and Air.

On June 20th will we enter the sec­ond Car­di­nal Sign and the first Water Sign of Can­cer. The Car­di­nal Signs begin the Four Sea­sons, and they form what I like to call the Four Cor­ners of Cre­ation, the Four Direc­tions of Iden­ti­ty and Ori­en­ta­tion. The four Ques­tions of Iden­ti­ty are “Who am I” in Aries, and “Who are you” in Libra; and “Where do I come from” by Can­cer and “Where am I going” by Capricorn?

The Zodi­ac
In this Sol­stice of Can­cer, we must turn to the ques­tion of our Roots, to where we come from, what anchors us and lov­ing­ly sup­ports our jour­ney in the stars. But to do this we real­ly need to con­sid­er, what are the Signs, what is the Zodiac?

For me, Astrol­o­gy is a vehi­cle of know­ing for address­ing the fun­da­men­tal ques­tions that we all face. It direct­ly con­cerns those three fun­da­men­tal ques­tions of Life:

Where do we come from; why are we here, and where are we going?

Since humans woke up, when we became self-aware, we won­dered and wan­dered seek­ing to know our­selves and our world, and to share what we under­stood. Yes, we made who we are by these sto­ries we shared, we made our­selves into what we are by this steady accu­mu­la­tion of Knowl­edge and Wis­dom. We are all made of and by one anoth­er, and our some­times sim­ple and often­times pro­found sto­ries of knowl­edge and wis­dom have become this peren­ni­al, liv­ing gift to us from our ances­tors and that we share with one anoth­er as we move through the Eter­nal Now.

It seems obvi­ous to me, that ear­ly in our awak­en­ing, as we sought to make sense of our expe­ri­ences of the world around us, we began to per­ceive and hold togeth­er these expe­ri­ences of our jour­ney here and con­nect them with what we wit­nessed tak­ing place in the sweep­ing pageantry in the heav­ens above.

One fun­da­men­tal ques­tion we must under­stand is How or Why does Astrol­o­gy work? What is it that forms the Zodi­ac, how does it func­tion, why does it work?

Source of The Zodiac
Accord­ing to the Ancient Wis­dom, the Zodi­ac is an Elec­tro-Mag­net­ic Field of Ener­gy-Forms, what is known as the “Design Body” or Sub­tle Body for any Organ­ism, whether that be an Atom, Mol­e­cule, Being, Plan­et, Star or Galaxy. We need to free our minds and move away from our fix­a­tion on Mat­ter and Sub­stance and think of the real forms behind the appear­ance of things, the noume­na and not the phe­nom­e­na. The Uni­verse, and every­thing in it, is like a Holo­gram, a series of inter­sect­ing ener­gy-forms, which when aligned and formed into cer­tain pat­terns cre­ate the var­i­ous Real­i­ty-Forms or the Mat­ter-Forms that we perceive.

The Zodi­ac is the Ener­gy-Form, which envelops and per­me­ates any organ­ism from the high­est spir­i­tu­al bod­ies all the way down into the denser mate­r­i­al bod­ies like our human “flesh-bod­ies”. The Zodi­ac holds the Twelve Cre­ative Hier­ar­chies of Spir­it; and the Pow­er or Force behind these Twelve is of or from the One, and that is ulti­mate­ly for me the Uncon­di­tion­al Love and Mind of the One.

For any organ­ism or Whole Being, from atoms and mol­e­cules all the way up the Stars, the Zodi­ac is like the Mas­ter Aura, hold­ing, form­ing and inform­ing the cre­ation, devel­op­ment, and expres­sion of that being. Each one of us is formed with­in our own Auric or Elec­tro-Mag­net­ic Field. But we humans are sub­ject to the Greater Aura of the Zodi­ac around the Earth. Then our Earth in turn is part of the Auras of the oth­er Plan­ets and our Star, which forms our entire Solar System’s Auric Field or Zodi­a­cal Field. Real­ly, there is but One Zodi­ac whose ulti­mate source is the One.

The Zodi­ac is not “out there” in the so-called Fixed Stars, it is the mas­ter tem­plate in all organ­ism or beings. And, most won­der­ful­ly, each indi­vid­ual Zodi­a­cal field aligns with the next high­er order of wholes or organ­isms or beings, and then those with the next as well. Until we find the entire Solar Sys­tem, and then the Milky Way Galaxy is aligned with this same Zodi­a­cal ori­en­ta­tion. Tru­ly the teach­ings hold that the Divine Order of the Cos­mos can be seen as, “Wheels with­in Wheels” and “As above, so below”. The Zodi­ac of our Solar Sys­tem is also the Zodi­ac of our Galaxy and all of Cre­ation, it is the Mas­ter Architect’s Elec­tro-Mag­net­ic Ener­gy-Field of Uncon­di­tion­al Love and Con­scious­ness which forms and guides all the organ­isms from the small­est to the great­est, who are the very Body of the One.

The Zodi­ac for Earth
What this means for us here on Earth, it that our Zodi­a­cal field is aligned so that when we say for exam­ple that the Sun is going through Gem­i­ni or Can­cer, what we real­ly mean is that the Ener­gy-Form of Gem­i­ni is being acti­vat­ed by the Sun at this time. Any enti­ty born at this time will par­take of that Gem­i­ni Ener­gy-Form with regards to its Root Nature and fun­da­men­tal pur­pos­es. Like­wise, when any oth­er plan­et is mov­ing through Gem­i­ni, like Venus, it means that Venus is act­ing through the Ener­gy-Form of Gem­i­ni and being mod­u­lat­ed accordingly.

The plan­ets are not the “caus­es” or mak­ers of what we do down here. I do not hold to the notion that the plan­ets make things “hap­pen”; rather, they reveal the deep inter­con­nect­ed­ness between all life in our Solar Sys­tem, our Fam­i­ly Sys­tem, and they can through and by their pat­terns of rela­tion­ship, by what I like to call “The Dance of the Plan­ets”, help us to under­stand the cycles and mean­ings of our life here on Earth.

For my ses­sions with clients, I see their chart as form­ing the essen­tial nature of the strengths and chal­lenges a soul is to work with in this life. A read­ing is an encounter with one­self, and when find­ing con­fir­ma­tion of what they have known, felt, or intu­it­ed about them­selves, they expe­ri­ence a warm com­fort and deep­er clar­i­ty about their life and pur­pose. They obtain greater self-accep­tance and self-under­stand­ing, and they can more con­scious­ly live their life in align­ment with their entire being or nature. For many this expe­ri­ence will often elic­it a greater clar­i­ty about the mean­ing and pur­pose of their life, and they take up (once again) the chal­lenge to move with more deter­mi­na­tion towards their self-mas­tery and awakening.

So, for now as we or our Star enter Can­cer on June 20th, we come once again to the ques­tion of our ori­gins or roots. We come to our fam­i­ly and her­itage, our cul­ture, and ances­tors. We can all trace our roots back, but only so far before these paths become blurred and our his­to­ry turns into leg­ends and myths. But we also know, or bet­ter, we also feel the con­nec­tions between one anoth­er that tran­scend these more lim­it­ed phys­i­cal sto­ries. We are human, and we all ulti­mate­ly share in the one Root of our human­i­ty, our one Fam­i­ly, the Fam­i­ly of Human.

We have come a long way, but we also know we have a long way to go. And the Wis­dom con­tained in Astrol­o­gy has always helped us to find our way as it can today. Gen­er­al­ly, or col­lec­tive­ly for us all, we look at the Astro­log­i­cal themes that are most sig­nif­i­cant are held by the three out­er­most plan­ets, Uranus, Nep­tune and Plu­to, and their Sign posi­tions and rela­tion­ships with one anoth­er pro­vide the fun­da­men­tal mean­ings and mes­sages for any age. Uranus takes 84 years to orbit the Sun and is mov­ing through Tau­rus from 2018 to 2026; Nep­tune takes 164 years to orbit the Sun and is mov­ing through Pisces from 2011 to 2026; and Plu­to takes 245 years to orbit the Sun and is mov­ing through Capri­corn from 2008 to 2024.

Plan­e­tary Align­ments and Seeding
His­tor­i­cal­ly, the most sig­nif­i­cant align­ment these 3 plan­ets will make is when they form a triple con­junc­tion, which is like a mas­ter spir­i­tu­al moment of seed­ing. The last time this hap­pened was in 577 BC in the Sign of Tau­rus and the world was graced by the pres­ence of Con­fu­cius, Bud­dha, Lao Tzu, Zoroast­er, and Pythago­ras (and many oth­ers). The next such align­ment is not due for over 1300 years in 3,368. But we must remem­ber that in every gen­er­a­tion, Teach­ers will come to remind us of who we are and why we are here. The paths of awak­en­ing are ever before us, and in each and every peri­od many souls will begin or con­tin­ue the steady climb that leads to awak­en­ing and liberation.

Plu­to
For us, the most sig­nif­i­cant ele­ment right now is the pas­sage of Plu­to in Capri­corn, which has always indi­cat­ed the end of an Insti­tu­tion­al Era. We are wit­ness­ing the end of our age from 2008 to 2024 which is not unlike the pre­vi­ous pas­sages of 1516–1532 and 1762–1778. That ear­li­er peri­od in Europe accom­pa­nied the Ref­or­ma­tion and move to a new polit­i­cal-eco­nom­ic-cul­tur­al order (and a new kind of human being), and the lat­ter peri­od being what I call the “End of Monar­chies and rise of Democ­ra­cies”, of which the US and French Repub­lic and oth­ers led the way.

And now we find that our polit­i­cal-eco­nom­ic-cul­tur­al order is com­ing undone. The rea­son is not “because” of Plu­to, but it does pro­vide con­text and mean­ing (along with the oth­er plan­ets). The rea­son is just it is spir­i­tu­al­ly time for this to hap­pen. The very solu­tions to meet our human needs that our ances­tors forged in the 1700’s and 1800’s have become the very instru­ments of form­ing the exis­ten­tial chal­lenges we face today. Whether in how we source our ener­gy, food, cloth­ing, hous­ing, in all so many ways in which we have met our needs, those very means we cre­at­ed and have relied upon our now destroy­ing the beau­ti­ful hier­ar­chy of life on this planet.

This is how it always is, the solu­tions of one era become the very source of the chal­lenge that we must rise above as we move into a new age. While Plu­to remains in Capri­corn, we will con­tin­ue to expe­ri­ence this as more of a time for the break­ing down of old forms in order to pre­pare the way for the new order that will rise from 2024 onwards. With Plu­to as the Avatar of the Will and Instru­ment of Alche­my for our Solar Sys­tem, while it moves through Capri­corn it sig­nals the time that will bring about a Rebirth of Forms for our World.

By work­ing with Plu­to, the plan­et of the Will, we walk the path of the One as we say, “Let Thy Will Be Done”.

Nep­tune
The next major influ­ence of mean­ing is pro­vid­ed by Nep­tune, which is cur­rent­ly mov­ing through its own sign of Pisces from 2011 to 2026. With its role as the dis­solver of bound­aries between ener­gy-fields and forms, this pas­sage of Nep­tune is often accom­pa­nied by the most sub­lime expe­ri­ences of the fun­da­men­tal One­ness of Cre­ation, which is root­ed in the divine light of Uncon­di­tion­al Love that forms and holds all as one in the Cos­mos. Yet this expe­ri­ence of the dis­solv­ing of real­i­ty-forms and the mean­ings behind those forms will equal­ly elic­it some of the most Illu­sion­ary and Delu­sion­al expe­ri­ences for many as well. Both the surge in spir­i­tu­al move­ments and crises of con­flict­ing views of real­i­ty we are expe­ri­enc­ing today can be seen as direct­ly relat­ed to its pre­vi­ous pas­sage in 1848 to 1862. It was then, as now, that our under­stand­ing of how we see and relate to one anoth­er (and to all of life on this plan­et), was revealed as deeply divid­ed; then as now, some humans sep­a­rat­ed them­selves from oth­ers, and believed that oth­er humans were less­er, and even could be deemed to be the “prop­er­ty” of oth­er humans, and that their pos­ses­sions and prop­er­ty rights were above our spir­i­tu­al respon­si­bil­i­ties to one anoth­er and to all life on this planet.

It is Neptune’s role to remind us that we are all made of one anoth­er, that we are all one in a com­mu­ni­ty of fel­low beings we call Human, and that we equal­ly part of the larg­er Com­mu­ni­ty of Life that is our beau­ti­ful Earth. When we turn from the path of Uncon­di­tion­al love for one anoth­er and indeed from all life-forms on this plan­et, that is when we enter into Chaos, Con­fu­sion and Delu­sion. The move­ment of Nep­tune through Pisces sig­nals a time for Illu­mi­na­tion and Awak­en­ing that is always her­ald­ed by the neces­si­ty of con­fu­sion. It is only when we are con­fused that we find we have no choice but to let go of our illu­sions and rise to new lev­el of under­stand­ing by see­ing the truth behind all life-forms here, we are all here because of Uncon­di­tion­al Love, and we are here to steadi­ly move towards liv­ing by this truth as we draw clos­er to being ful­ly awak­ened as Human.

When we hold to the mes­sage of Nep­tune, we fol­low the path of Love and Com­pas­sion and keep to the Mas­ters’ teach­ing that we are here for one thing only, “Love One Another”.

Uranus
Final­ly, we have the last of the out­er plan­ets guid­ing our steps, which is held by the plan­et Uranus. Known as the Awak­en­er, Uranus is mov­ing through the Ener­gy-Form of Tau­rus from 2018 to 2026, and like its pre­vi­ous times there from 1935 to 1942 or from 1851 to 1859 or from 1768 to 1775, it sig­nals a time where old val­ues are shat­tered, and a reimag­i­na­tion and restate­ment of our Hier­ar­chy of Val­ues is at hand.

Cer­tain­ly, I think we can all agree that the expe­ri­ences our world has gone through in just this past year alone, with a world-wide Pan­dem­ic and a resur­gence of Social Jus­tice move­ments, has upend­ed our rela­tion­ships to what is the good, what is valu­able and most cru­cial­ly, how we val­ue one another.

Uranus, as the Avatar of the Mind, is the shaper of our Thought-Real­i­ty-Forms which we can envis­age as Holo­grams. We are each shaped and held by our own Thought-Forms, which in turn are shaped by our Col­lec­tive Holo­grams, which in turn are formed, shaped, and guid­ed by the larg­er Holo­grams of the plan­ets, stars, and galax­ies. Once again, wheels with­in wheels,

Uranus, which holds the ener­gy-form of our High­er Mind, is the Quick­en­ing agent on our path of awak­en­ing. We frame our per­cep­tions and under­stand­ings by means of a hier­ar­chy and range of sup­po­si­tions, data, facts, and truths which form our means to move through our Real­i­ty-Forms with Rea­son. But we must equal­ly and per­sis­tent­ly keep test­ing and ques­tion­ing this body of Knowl­edge and Truth as we find our way to the Roy­al Road known as the Path of Awak­en­ing. To that end, Uranus as the Avatar of our Crit­i­cal, Ques­tion­ing, and Pro­tean abil­i­ty of Intel­li­gence, brings us to steadi­ly and con­stant­ly, yet at times more dra­mat­i­cal­ly, to expe­ri­ences that shat­ter the old ways of per­ceiv­ing and defin­ing what we know as real­i­ty. Uranus is our Avatar of the Freer Mind.

When we hold to the guid­ance of our Freer and High­er Mind, we move to the Peace of Under­stand­ing that is the “Mind of the One”.

It is by Uranus and our High­er Mind that we align our Lives with the Path of the Divine, as by Nep­tune feel our­selves and hold one anoth­er in Uncon­di­tion­al Love, which is held true and steady by Plu­to as our will becomes aligned with the Will of the One.

We are here on Earth to make our way to being a ful­ly real­ized and com­plete human, whose Mind is Free, whose Love is Pure and whose Will is True to the Divine Plan of the One.

The Gift of Knowing

In all the great myths, in all the great reli­gions and teach­ings that have been hand­ed down through the ages, there is that sin­gu­lar moment in the sto­ry of human­i­ty when we moved through the por­tal of self-con­scious­ness. Long, long ago, we went from a state of sim­ple con­scious­ness (a rel­a­tive inno­cence) and into the realm of sub­jec­tive-objec­tive con­scious­ness. We became self-aware, con­scious of the essen­tial dual­i­ty of real­i­ty, of this and that. It was the time in our jour­ney at which we tru­ly knew, we became painful­ly aware, that we are in some way sep­a­rate from the Ocean of Spir­i­tu­al Oneness.

We were more and less, sep­a­rat­ed into “The Know­er and the Known”. We moved into a form of being that shapes our jour­ney to this day, as we dwell in this state of self and of oth­er. We became ele­vat­ed by the knowl­edge we could then acquire, and this became the source of our pro­tean pow­er to change our­selves and our world. Yet we also felt the loss, and we con­tin­ue to be brought to sor­row and shame by our still lim­it­ed under­stand­ing about the nature of our­selves and our world.

Whether it is the sto­ry of Prometheus steal­ing the “Fire of the Gods”, or Adam and Eve eat­ing from the Tree of Knowl­edge, it is held by the Ancient Wis­dom that we expe­ri­enced this quick­en­ing which equal­ly formed our abil­i­ty to bet­ter under­stand our­selves and the worlds around us. Yet, in many of these myths our advance into a greater aware­ness is por­trayed as also being a “fall”, of leav­ing a state of inno­cence or at-one-ness with Cre­ation as we moved into the expe­ri­ence of our sep­a­ra­tion from the Greater Real­i­ty of the One.

Accord­ing to the Ancient Wis­dom, the Sto­ry of Spir­it is also the Sto­ry of Con­scious­ness. It is the Mind of the One as “The One”, who to form Cre­ation becomes the many, divid­ing into the count­less sparks of the Divine, the mon­ads of Spir­it which are the root cause or seed behind every mote and speck of Cre­ation. And then, from that begin­ning, all these “lit­tle minds” began their jour­ney of Spir­it, of Con­scious­ness, as they moved up and out­wards into ever more encom­pass­ing expe­ri­ences of the Greater Real­i­ty over the ages and ages of a Cos­mic Age. The Sto­ry of Spir­it is the sto­ry of all these ones who slow­ly lift up them­selves to ever high­er lev­els of con­scious­ness, which is in fact the sto­ry of the Mind of the One.

For us, today, we begin our month­ly jour­ney through the Sign that holds this por­tal to con­scious­ness, the Sign of Gem­i­ni. At this time, and wher­ev­er Gem­i­ni is found in your chart, you are blessed with the “Gift of Know­ing” that is one of the most con­se­quen­tial fac­ul­ties you require as you walk the path of ful­fill­ment as a human. That Apoth­e­o­sis will arrive when you have moved from your more lim­it­ed con­scious­ness into what will be a tru­ly “Encom­pass­ing Con­scious­ness” of your one­ness with “The One” again, and that is known in the Ancient Wis­dom as the state of Cos­mic Con­scious­ness or Nirvana.

While we are human, we are the means to one another’s awak­en­ing. The devel­op­ment of your aware­ness depends upon all those who came before you as your con­scious­ness with­in and the cre­ations around you are the gifts of your ances­tors to you. And you most cer­tain­ly are depen­dent upon those with whom you live in this moment now for what you may achieve in this life too.

Always remem­ber, the great­est illu­sion we must tran­scend is this phys­i­cal expe­ri­ence of being sep­a­rate from one anoth­er, when in truth we are a hier­ar­chi­cal host of ener­gy-forms that inter­sect, blend, and inform, as we share and make this jour­ney with one anoth­er always. In truth, all these bod­ies that con­nect us make us who we are, but most cer­tain­ly our “body of con­scious­ness” is even more formed and elicit­ed, shaped, and sup­port­ed and uplift­ed by all of our many expe­ri­ences with one another.

From the begin­ning of your awak­en­ing, the way to your ful­fill­ment has always been the same. It is the mes­sage of Gem­i­ni, carved upon all the tem­ples of antiquity:

Know Thy­self

But it is equal­ly true that you will only know your­self, you will only be who and what you are, when you see the oth­er as your­self. When you look into the eyes of who­ev­er is before you, when you see shin­ing there the sparkling Spir­it of Know­ing, it is then that you will smile because you know we are the Light which is the Divine, “whose cen­ter is every­where and whose cir­cum­fer­ence is nowhere”.

It is then that you will know the truth that is there in you and in all things too.

We are the Divine.

We have exam­ined over the last few shows the impor­tance of the out­er plan­e­tary con­di­tions active in the world gen­er­al­ly and with regards to the US and US his­to­ry. I thought we might want to take this moment to look at these influ­ences in a more indi­vid­ual way today and see how these same plan­ets are influ­enc­ing some of the most sig­nif­i­cant actors upon our his­tor­i­cal stage now in the Unit­ed States.

What is remark­able about our moment in the USA right now is that we find our­selves with the Exec­u­tive and Leg­isla­tive Branch­es being led by three Democ­rats. The last time this was true was in the peri­od from 2009–2011, which was in the first half of Obama’s first term. Astro­log­i­cal­ly, what was true then is also true now, in one respect, in that the Plan­et Jupiter once again is in Aquar­ius (as it is every 12 years or so).

So, I thought it would be inter­est­ing to exam­ine the charts for the three lead­ers of the Unit­ed States gov­ern­ment, Chuck Schumer, Nan­cy Pelosi, and Joe Biden. Let us look at each of their charts and see what they bring to this moment as indi­vid­u­als and as a team and look at the plan­e­tary influ­ences they are expe­ri­enc­ing this year. Giv­en the crit­i­cal impor­tance of what is hap­pen­ing gen­er­al­ly in the world with the pas­sage of Plu­to in Capri­corn, and Nep­tune in Pisces, and Uranus in Tau­rus, and espe­cial­ly so for the chart of the USA, we will want to see what these plan­ets indi­cate in each of their charts at this time.

Chuck Schumer
Let us begin with Chuck Schumer who is the Sen­ate Major­i­ty Leader and a key play­er right now because the House will work up Bills, but they have to pass the Sen­ate which is split now 50/50 between Democ­rats and Repub­li­cans, and then be signed or not into law by the Pres­i­dent. So, Chuck Schumer’s role is critical.

Chuck Schumer is born with a chart that has what we call a Splay pat­tern, which means the plan­ets are scat­tered around the wheel and form a high­ly inte­grat­ed pat­tern. I always tell clients who have this pat­tern, that they have a much more unique approach to life, and they can pull togeth­er var­i­ous things that some­times do not seem relat­ed and make sense of it. So, in times which for oth­ers is con­fus­ing, and they do not under­stand what is hap­pen­ing, peo­ple with splay pat­terns see through the con­fu­sion and see the under­ly­ing order of things. And because of this, they can come up with rather unusu­al or sig­nif­i­cant insights and actions or solu­tions because of that ability.

Chuck Schumer is a Sagit­tar­ius with his Sun in the 10^th House and his Moon at the nadir in Tau­rus, and a Ris­ing Sign of Capri­corn, but with his ruler of Sagit­tar­ius of Jupiter Ris­ing in Aquar­ius in his 1^st House. He has a Fire dom­i­nant chart, with that Sagit­tar­i­an ener­gy and oth­er place­ments in his chart that gives him more of a fire ele­ment than any­thing else. That makes them very ide­al­is­tic, but he is also firm because he has many fixed plan­ets in his chart. Yet more than not, he would be an adapt­able per­son because he has more muta­bil­i­ty in his chart or more muta­ble plan­ets in his chart than many oth­er people.

The sig­nif­i­cant tran­sits in his chart right now would be that he has Plu­to, the out­er­most plan­et, is tran­sit­ing his Dharma/Karma line in 2021 and 2022. That will make him feel as if a “date with des­tiny” for him has arrived, it is his time to reap the fruits of his past actions and move clos­er to his life pur­pose. This moment could be that time when Schumer’s per­son­al des­tiny aligns with a great moment in history.

More­over, and per­haps even more sig­nif­i­cant is that Plu­to is com­ing across his Ascen­dant this year, his Ris­ing sign, and next year as well. Plu­to is the plan­et of the Will and Will Pow­er and con­trol, and Schumer will feel the call to more deeply iden­ti­fy him­self with a spir­i­tu­al cause and/or polit­i­cal moment. He will be more uncom­pro­mis­ing and stead­fast as he frees him­self from con­ven­tion­al ideas and actions, and he will find him­self per­son­al­ly trans­formed as that Alchem­i­cal ener­gy of Plu­to trans­forms the crit­i­cal posi­tion that he holds in the world right now.

Mean­while Nep­tune is trin­ing his Mid­heav­en which means that he will see his faith, vision and dream becom­ing more of a real­i­ty now, espe­cial­ly if his pur­pose is formed and guid­ed by the greater com­mon good. This is a time where the ded­i­ca­tion and sac­ri­fice for a cause will lead to very real progress for the larg­er social order that he serves.

And then Uranus, which is the third of the out­er­most plan­ets, is trin­ing his Mars, the plan­et of action and desire, and this will help him to achieve his goals by act­ing in cre­ative and inno­v­a­tive ways to ful­fill his ambi­tions, pro­vid­ed his goal and pur­pose is guid­ed by the inten­tion to help estab­lish greater free­dom and self-ful­fill­ment for oth­ers. Peo­ple will notice that Schumer is not act­ing like his old self and he is like­ly to suc­ceed if he blazes a new path and does things that he would not have tried before. It is if his belief that he could not do some­thing pre­vent­ed him from even try­ing before, but now he is free to pur­sue the path not taken.

Nan­cy Pelosi
Nan­cy Pelosi, the Speak­er of the House, the head of the House in our gov­ern­ment, has a pat­tern that is called Loco­mo­tive which means the plan­ets are spread through 2/3 of the chart and 1/3 remains open and emp­ty. Peo­ple like that have a “loco­mo­tive ener­gy”, pro­pelling them upwards and out­wards as long as they have a vision and dream and a goal that they are reach­ing up to. The lead­ing edge of that pat­tern is often crit­i­cal, and for her it is Mer­cury, the plan­et of the mind and com­mu­ni­ca­tions lead­ing her through life. She is also a Fire dom­i­nant per­son in terms of from make­up, but she has a lot of Earth in her chart. She is an ide­al­ist and prag­ma­tist, with her Sun in the 8^th House in Aries, and Aries being the first sign is a sign for lead­er­ship. And it is inter­est­ing that she is a Fire sign as his Chuck Schumer being a Sagit­tar­ius. Her Moon is at the Nadir for chart also, but it is in the sign of Scor­pio. Chuck’s Moon is in Tau­rus and her Moon is in Scor­pio almost exact­ly oppo­site one anoth­er, and yet Chuck’s Moon in Tau­rus is on or Con­junct Nancy’s Venus and Uranus. So, there are all these link­ages between their charts that would make them be rather good and sen­si­tive and coop­er­a­tive with one anoth­er. They are dif­fer­ent but there is more alike here than not. Nancy’s Ris­ing sign is the sign of Leo, again anoth­er sign of lead­er­ship, and Nep­tune, the plan­et vision and dream and inspi­ra­tion, is her Ris­ing plan­et. She is ide­al­is­tic but she is also very prag­mat­ic and very fixed; she is very pur­pose­ful, very deter­mined and more so than the adapt­able Chuck Schumer I would argue. She is very fixed and pur­pose­ful to the point of being unyield­ing with her fixed plan­ets being dominant.

What are her aspects now? Plu­to is trin­ing her Sun Sign ruler, the plan­et Mars. Pelosi will feel pow­er­ful and pur­pose­ful dur­ing this peri­od. This is a moment for her when what seemed impos­si­ble, Mars is what you are reach­ing for and try­ing to get, will be accom­plished. In fact, I tell peo­ple with Plu­to on their Mars that this is a time when “Mis­sion Impos­si­ble” is cer­tain­ly pos­si­ble, and you are going sur­prise oth­ers and your­self with what you can do. What most peo­ple would have found to be a most chal­leng­ing task right now will seem easy for her. This is one of those spe­cial moments when Pelosi can achieve her life’s ambi­tions, espe­cial­ly with regards to actions and goals ded­i­cat­ed to rebirth, renew­al, and regen­er­a­tion, again all key­words for the plan­et Pluto.

Nep­tune, mean­while, is oppo­site to her Nep­tune in 2021 and 2022, and yes, this is the same aspect that is occur­ring in the chart of the Unit­ed States. For an indi­vid­ual this will hap­pen only in their ear­ly 80s and marks a time of great sig­nif­i­cance for any­one spir­i­tu­al­ly. The ele­va­tion of her con­science and con­scious­ness to an even high­er plane is pos­si­ble, and so she may expe­ri­ence the uni­ty of not just humans for one anoth­er but for all life, and it is deeply felt and that guides her now. For many this moment marks a peri­od of great spir­i­tu­al awak­en­ing, of com­pas­sion and of empathy.

Mean­while, Uranus is tran­sit­ing her 10^th House, because she has Tau­rus on her 10^th House, which is the House of one’s life pur­pose and career. For those who have fol­lowed their truth, this can be a time of even greater self-ful­fill­ment, as she more com­plete­ly reveals her unique con­tri­bu­tion to her life’s work. With Uranus rul­ing indi­vid­u­al­i­ty and inno­va­tion, it will be a time for her to reveal her indi­vid­ual spe­cial­ness of vision in the world, a vision that she has steadi­ly worked towards since the year 2000 when Uranus moved into her 7^th House. With Uranus at the top of her chart, this will be a time when Pelosi will reach beyond what appeared to be the lim­its of her efforts up to this point, and by act­ing from a mean­ing­ful and inno­v­a­tive ded­i­ca­tion to the task at hand, she will free her­self and oth­ers from the old world had estab­lished a new one.

Joe Biden
Joe Biden’s pat­tern is also a Loco­mo­tive like Nan­cy, but for him the lead­ing edge is the Moon in Tau­rus. So, both he and Nan­cy are pur­pose­ful and dri­ven, have their eyes on the prize, and as long as they steadi­ly fol­low that prize, they have this ener­gy dri­ving them to get to where they are going. But for Joe, as opposed to Chuck or Nan­cy, he has Water, a lot of Water in his chart, and peo­ple who are “Watery” are sen­si­tives, they are empath­ic and com­pas­sion­ate by nature. His Sun in Scor­pio is in the 12^th House. His moon in Tau­rus is in the 5^th, but it is also the ris­ing body of his chart. Joe has the Moon ris­ing which makes for even greater sen­si­tiv­i­ty, and with Nep­tune at his Mid­heav­en, as the plan­et that is guid­ing him in terms of his path in life. Sen­si­tive and com­pas­sion­ate with that water dom­i­nance, yet with fixed plan­ets being dom­i­nant, it makes him fun­da­men­tal­ly deter­mined and unyield­ing, as is Nan­cy Pelosi.

What are his tran­sits? For Joe, Plu­to right now is oppos­ing the ruler of Biden’s Ascen­dant, which is the plan­et Jupiter, dur­ing 2021. Jupiter rules our truth, and Jupiter rules Sagit­tar­ius his ris­ing sign and so this is a time where Biden’s deter­mi­na­tion and dri­ve to attain suc­cess this year will be unstop­pable, as he seeks to bring togeth­er the truth, or his truth, and real­i­ty, to make what he thinks ought to be the actu­al way things are. As long as he wields the pow­er of his office and posi­tion for the greater good, he will not be stopped at this time. He (we) can­not force our truth upon oth­ers, but it is his duty to ful­fill the hopes and dreams of the major­i­ty of Amer­i­cans he has sworn to serve, and this year he will be unwa­ver­ing in that service.

Mean­while, Nep­tune is trin­ing Biden’s Mer­cury, which is the ruler of his 10^th House of the career. This will be a year when Biden’s com­pas­sion and imag­i­na­tion will guide his thoughts and deeds. For an artist and for him, this would be a moment where his rea­son and his ratio­nal mind will com­bine with his intu­ition­al and com­pas­sion­ate nature to inspire and uplift his audi­ence. His con­nec­tion to oth­ers, his abil­i­ty to empathize and give voice to their hopes and dreams, to reach them and move them will be very con­sid­er­able. Many will expe­ri­ence the truth that he feels what they feel, he speaks to their heart and their hopes, and they will know that he is a leader for them at this time.

Mean­while, Uranus is oppo­site the ruler of Biden’s Sun, the plan­et Mars, because Mars rules Scor­pio. Uranus is the plan­et that elic­its the Indi­vid­u­a­tion Process, and in align­ment with the plan­et of action and desire, means that Biden is going to sur­prise him­self (and oth­ers) with the way in which he acts on the world stage right now. He will feel the need to move or act in a very dif­fer­ent man­ner in order to reach his aims and aspi­ra­tions. He will sur­prise many who thought they knew how he would act as a leader.

Age of Aquarius
I also think, I believe, that giv­en the his­toric moment that we are in as deter­mined by the Great Muta­tion in Aquar­ius of Jupiter and Sat­urn this past Decem­ber, that it is also impor­tant to con­sid­er where this con­junc­tion took place in each of their charts, espe­cial­ly when we remem­ber that the chart of the USA has its ruler, giv­en that the USA’s Sun is in Can­cer, that the Moon in the USA chart is in the sign of Aquar­ius. And even more than this, that the Moon in a nation’s chart rules “the People”.

For Schumer, the Muta­tion was in his First House, where both Sat­urn and Jupiter remain for now. The First House rules are “pres­ence” in this world, and defines the moti­va­tions and inten­tions, and cre­ates the “per­sona” that a per­son will move into the world. The “way” Schumer will lead now will be a renewed one guid­ed by the Aquar­i­an Age.

For Pelosi, the Muta­tion was in her 6^th House, which is the House of “Ser­vice and Order” and would indi­cate a reded­i­ca­tion in her life to the path of ser­vice and work at this time. And, even more deeply com­mit­ted by Aquar­ius, because this is what Aquar­ius rules, to help and heal communities.

For Biden, the Muta­tion was in his 2^nd House, which is the House of “Val­ue and Self-worth”, which has been rein­forced by this Aquar­i­an New Age. He will expe­ri­ence a renewed com­mit­ment to the essen­tial val­ue behind all val­ues, which is at the cen­ter of the val­ue of us all, and which we all know and live by, and that is Uncon­di­tion­al Love.

I think this moment in his­to­ry, with these three lead­ers for us at this time, does indi­cate that a New Age has begun, or a New Age is attempt­ing to begin, by those peo­ple who are called upon to be instru­ments and lead­ers at this time. But, of course, we are all called upon at this time to believe that we can make a “New World” any and every day. There is an old phrase that I love to quote some­times, it is not my phrase, there are no orig­i­nal thoughts down here of course, and that phrase is that “beat­en paths are for beat­en peo­ple”. We are here to be Trail Blaz­ers and find a new and bet­ter way to meet each oth­er, to meet one anoth­er’s needs, to help each oth­er to thrive and be ful­filled, because to the extent that any one of us is lim­it­ed in our self-real­iza­tion, then all of us are dimin­ished. And so, it is incum­bent on all of us to fos­ter those con­di­tions which allow the flow­er­ing of the human poten­tial and our spir­it so that we will meet this moment in the best pos­si­ble man­ner and cre­ate a bet­ter future for those who come after us.
